Today was a decent enough day. Got the last of the week's sessions done... meaning none tomorrow! All I have to do work-wise tomorrow is to complete my treatment plans and attend our "South Social" (gathering of all the clinical/therapist staff for the South MS region) in Hattiesburg for lunch.

After I complete all that, I can head my happy butt to Louisiana and see all my favorite peoples for the weekend :)

Today was okay. Had beaucoup meetings this morning that left me more apathetic than caring at one point. But my sessions with my kids and families went pretty well so that brightened my day a bit. Ended the day with some sushi (no meat since it's Ash Wednesday) and a margarita (it's National Margarita Day), not a bad end. My last two sessions of the week are tomorrow. Yay!

Today was Mardi Gras, though living in Mississippi and working really didn't make it count for me.

Woke up with a splitting, nauseating headache... still went in to work though because I didn't want to postpone any sessions I had scheduled.

A high point of my day was getting my belated Valentine's day present in from my honey. He sent me a bouquet of LSU purple and gold roses, which I loved :)

Today definitely felt like a Monday :p

Today is Lundi Gras and tomorrow is Mardi Gras. I have to admit I'm slightly jealous of most of friends (and clients) who are off from school and work... I want a break as well. But I'm seeing this as an opportunity to get sessions done when they couldn't normally be, so I'm less busy at the end of this week. I'm looking forward to this weekend and seeing the family, friends and the boyfriend :)

Being in a significant relationship is an almost completely new experience for me... a world almost upside down in a way. He brings change into my life... a good change. He really doesn't even change my basic views and beliefs because we share a lot of the same, but instead changes how I can see change in everything but really not having the change there. I still feel like the "same old" me... but I have someone to share that "same old" me with who sees that me in a completely different way.

Today was a pretty good day actually...

1. It was Friday.
2. It was my Mom's 51st birthday :)
3. It was payday.
4. French fry Friday: self-imposed weekly holiday that gives me an excuse to get some McDonald's fries (and a toy!)
5. ordered my Girl Scout cookies.
6. my parents met the guy I've been seeing for the first time (only slight awkwardness lol)
