This view realy took my breath away. And it was the first sight of the valley.

Licancabur is the main vulcan seen from the Town of San Pedro do Atacama, the town that holds most of the hotels and touring agencies in the region.

Many pictures on this set will show this volcano

Actually, the valey's name used to be Mars Valley, once specialists say that its formation looks like Mars geography.

Well, those red walls help it look like Mars. missing only the red sky.
