Found this classic old Fiat parked outside the Masseria Il Frantoio, where we were treated to a excellent lunch. I'm told it's in working condition, and you can go driving in it. Sadly we got too excited about lunch to take that offer up!

As we were driving home today through rural France, I was struck by quite how pretty and generally, well, rural the scene was. A gloriously setting sun provided golden light to die for, bales were neatly rolled in the fields, tractors putted by. I'm sure

I am still unsure quite how I got this flight from Brindisi, given that our late running ferry docked at 9.15 and the flight took off at 9.50. I suspect most of it was down to the taxi driver who accepted the challenge of getting me from one side of town
