• globe light! (the perfect nightlight)
  • this one is the oldest - turn of the century or so? i dont know why they don't date globes, you'd think that would be an obvious thing to do but i have yet to see it done.
  • So at work we have a *giant* globe (3 feet, maybe) that lights up softy and slowly rotates if you plug it in. We are never allowed to, however. The Fire Marshall forbid it because apparently it's a fire hazard. - ex.libris

I really like old maps but especially vintage globes. here are (just a few) of my globes that i have collected over the years. I have way too many now so I think that I may begin to (try to) give some away to some of my favourite friends. or maybe not - i love them!
