View of Nubra Valley and Mighty Karakoram range from Khardungla Paas Top (5602 mts),Ladakh, India
Khardungla Paas is the world's highest motorable road...and i was lucky to have cycled from the top till Leh town at bottom(capital of ladakh), a distance of about 35 kms....i guess world's most amazing road to drive on.

The 1st view after a 5hour long struggle with snowfall on STOK KANGRI peak (6153mts), Ladakh Himalayas, India.

The 1st view after a 5hour long struggle with snowfall on STOK KANGRI peak (6153mts), Ladakh Himalayas, India.

On the way down from Stok Kangri Peak, Ladakh.
During this visit of ladakh, i decided to take up a task which was quite challenging...the 4 day trek to summit of Stok kangri Peak (6153 mts)....i was preparing my body and mind for it 1 month prior to going ladakh....finally the day came and i was happy that my body was extremely well at that height....but the peril was unexpected, the heavy snowfall for 4 hours rendered my hands/feet numb, we lost our track at height of about 5900 mts, it was totally dark...we waited for morning for some directions but snowfall gave us no relief..i remember thinking that i have lost my hands n legs ;) couldn't feel them at all...luckily our bodies can do much more than we know. After this 5 hour fight with altitude, cold, snowfall, slippery hike we decided to come down just 150 mts before the peak as it became very dangerous to go ahead.....at about 9 am, the first sunlight came...never felt better in my life feeling the warmth of sun....and this was one of the very first sights i saw while coming down that mighty mountain....was beautiful, i forgot all my agony n pain :)

Tryst with Storm ;)

Tryst with Storm ;)

Ladakh, India.
I was on bike happily driving on LEH highway and suddenly a sandstorm crossed the road like avalanche....Had to stop the speeding bike with difficulty...the storm engulfed the mountains in front in just seconds and gave me one of the most exotic landscape views, i would ever see....STORMS ARE GOOD ;)
