My guess is that the original owners were named "Goodhand", otherwise it's just a strange name for a theatre.
Seating 215, it was last operated (AFAIK) by a couple named Sorensen, but now it's closed and for sale.

The script on Goodhand is excellent.
Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Movie Theatres, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

It's like bridge. If you have a good hand, you don't need a partner.

Har!
It that "d" ever falls off, I hope someone will call me. I'll head right out there to take a shot of it. ;-)

Maybe it's owned by the Allstate insurance company? I can hear it now, "You're in the GoodHand Theatre with Allatate".
