Close up of where bed bugs had been feeding. Adult bed bug fed on vein and nymphs fed on other area on top of hand. Note the swellings. Large red blotches on lower right at thumb base and along lower wrist are birth marks (port-wine stain or naevus flammeus), not bed-bug related (not visible in this view, but near base of thumb in other pictures of the bites on left hand).
