Coaldale Abandoned Truckstop

An abandoned truckstop, restaurant and motel complex at the junction of Highway 6 and 95 in lonely west-central Nevada.

Completely abandoned for about 10 years, the restaurant recently burned down.

Behind the truckstop is a dumping-ground for junker 70s cars.

Some digital HDR-style multi-exposure compositing, but I try to keep it natural and subtle.

All colored light work was done in camera, during the exposure. These are not Photoshop creations.
