This is devine Lisa. I can't believe you were worried about your hand quilting because it looks great. Did you actually follow a pattern or did you just make it up from looking at one of the DS quilts?

Aw, shucks! You're all too nice! Now that it's gone, I kind of miss it. But I'm taking some extra blocks and starting on a Denyse Schmidt sampler for myself.

Donna: I read thru the What a Bunch of Squares pattern in the DSQ book and looked at the templates in the back, but didn't actually use them. I think if I had, there would have been more white space around the colored squares, but I still like the way it came out!

Harmonious colors, subtly intriguing variations - you've created a thing of beauty! I don't know DS as a designer but will go look her up. This little quilt has a spirit that speaks to me, as I'm trying to get away from overplanned, too-fussy design. Glad you're cottoning on to hand-quilting; I've been hooked for ages.
