Or I guess, they were K-Mart's competitor for a while.

The Caldor in my town in New Jersey had a huge parking lot that would sometimes flood. When it did, people would take rafts across it and everyone called it Lake Caldor.

That is the most interesting thing I can say about my experience with Caldor.
