Staples, Williamsburg, VA

Staples, Williamsburg, VA by Look In The Tunk.
I've been wanting to take a photo of this place forever.

This HAD to be a grocery store in the 1980's. Like a a&p/super fresh
maybe. Any clues?

the world's biggest burger king, but yet the worlds smallest looking staples lol.

That whole shopping area had all sorts of 1980's looking stores. I need to get out there one weekday morning and take all sorts of pics.

No question this was a grocery store. I'm not familiar enough with the geneology of southern chains though to tell you which one.

That building looks very 80's and its surrounded around other very 1980's stores. That's what made me think that it may of been a Super Fresh at one point, since Super Freshes were popular in 1980's into the mid 1990's out here.

Yep, it was definitely a supermarket. And unless my memory is completely shot, it was actually a Safeway. There did exist a SuperFresh nearby though. It was located in the space now used by BigLots.
