kelvingrove art gallery & museum |
For elaboration: Alasdair Gray doesn't much like the new Kelvingrove. He has a point, to
some extent. It can be quite good. Or
bad. But it's full of funny museum wall
label things. Which were a bastard to
tag. But there you go. They're amusing
out of context of the work which they
represent. Or even in context. What
should they be? Mirrors of the painting?
Or an aid for kids to get into the
paintings? The yellow ones are for kids,
the grey background means it's a normal
one. Some are funny, some are just odd.
Some produced some interesting geometry.
Enjoy!
