this was shot for my photo camp 2011 application, each applicant was asked to submit a sefl portrait. i was a bit slake, i only realized there was 1 day left tuesday afternoon when i was on my way back from london to brighton! i tried a few things that evening and the following morning then got the filmed deved wednesday. this what the one i acutally submitted to phoot you can see the out takes below it was a toss between this and similar one shot on the beach. this image was the 1st one took while waiting for a bus at BP in sunbury.
i shot a lot of montage portraits of other people but its not technically possible to do on myself unless i grow arms like mr tickle. I decided instead to mix it up a bit. i did shot some self portraits on a digital camera but I find if its not shot on a Lomo LCA with crossed processed film it just dose not look like me.
photo camp 2011 is texas this year. if i go i might run a hot shots workshop in either houston or austin around 11th of june. if think you might be interested in that drop me a flicker mail or get in touch via email. my address is on the contact page of my site. i have of course got some up coming dates in brighton to!
if you curious to what photo camp is you can check out photo camp web site or read my round up of phoot 2009 on my blog. this has made me realize that wrote nothing about photo 2010!
in case you where wondering the necklace was made by my lovely wife!
