In searching for something green that was not alive, I passed by this on my way in the house. Sitting to the side, alone and forgotten for the winter season, it was screaming to me " I'm green! I'm green!" So, briefly, for this time of year it is in the spotlight again.

Playing around with selective coloring. While his eye seem more green than blue. I think it is a hue of blue!

I want to do more with black & white this year. The different tones and shades. I think it is interesting that b&w is not just the absence of color.

As you can tell from my profile picture and this one, I am going through a tranformation. I had been dyeing my hair for the last 20 years. And I was sick of it!
My hair had become an unnatural color, brittle and it was becoming very thin on top! I couldn't afford the salons anymore and doing it yourself is so hard. I have stained my bathroom floor. And I only got one good week of not having roots. Dyeing my hair every 2 weeks was killing me. I said enough. So I started growing it out. I couldn't take the skunk line and buzzed my hair down to 3/4 of an inch! This picture is 3 weeks after. I am growing my length back out. I like longer hair. But I LOVE my silver! My hair is so soft and thick. My thinning on top is growing back in. And I have no roots. All natural! I feel so liberated! While I am premature gray, I will embrace it. I am who I am!

When had our annual Christmas Parade this past weekend. My son is in the Air Force ROTC. They had to march in the parade. He looks so handsome in his dress blues.

Oh by the way.
I am way behind and I don't mind falalalalalalala :)
