Lockwasher TrifectaI'm stoked to have had three pieces accepted in the City of Santa Clara's "The Art of Crafts Exhibition". Summer Fun Suitcase, Mow 'n' Mulligan and Bio Fuel Pogo Shovel will be on display at the City offices through Dec. The Opening Reception and awards Presentation will take place next Saturday, Aug 22 from 2-4 pm...cool beans!

Coffee Pot CraneHere's the entry which I created for a local recycled art show, Scrap2Sculpt Recycling Sculpture Contest. I assembled it using an aluminum coffee percolator, automobile flywheel, salad tongs, car window dampers, roller skate axle, shoe stretchers, mini blinds, flashlight housing, meat grinder handle and a lemon squeezer. Fashioned after the Common Crane (Grus grus), also known as the Eurasian Crane, a bird of the family Gruidae, the cranes. (sounds all "brainy" as I took this from wick-o-pedeeAHH), she stands 41" tall x 24" wide x 12" deep.
