Railway Glen Ogle
The railway sadly closed in 1965 after a rock fall further down Glen Ogle. Today the dissused railway is part of the national cycle network, as you can see from this photo it's also popular with walkers.

Memorial Cairn, Glen Ogle.
Memorial Cairn for RAF pilot Flt Lt John Mosley and navigator Flt Lt Peter Harrison who both died near this spot on September 1st 1994 after their Tornado jet crashed. The aircraft was Tornado GR1 ZG708 and was operated by 13 Squadron based at RAF Marham in Norfolk.
