Traveling at the speed of light.

Traveling at the speed of light.

I recently acquired a new smartphone. The amazing HTC One (ultrapixel, bigger pixel blablabla). Bottom line, it really works. Low light shots are much cleaner, at the expense of lost details. However, the phone's native ratio is 16:9. This has forced me to compose differently to avoid cropping, and after a while, I think I kinda dig it. The streets of NYC just look so different in 16:9 :)

Downside to having this ultra awesome phone? My camera's been pretty sad lately, sitting quietly in her bag. I still love you, NEX-7.

Expect loads more from my HTC One in the near future ;P

Lots of love to Mom.

Lots of love to Mom.

This photo might seem totally unrelated to the message, but it isn't. This right here is a female wild boar, mother to two currently living little ones (according to our guide, she had 4 or 5 piglets but lost a few to attacks by crocodiles). Very protective of them.

Unconditional love. Remember that the next time you get mad at your mom.

Taking a walk down memory lane. (Explored)

The best part of my trip to New Orleans was visiting the plantations (and doing a swamp tour). This was taken at the Oak Alley Plantation (Thanks Sylentjustice). A historical place with a breathtaking view.

(They filmed Interview with a Vampire here).

Muchas gracias for making this photo more interesting than it actually is, a simple sunset.

I promise, my next photo will be the best shot ever! Lol
