Gateway to Wisdom

The entrance to a higher secondary school in Madurai very near my house.I went round walking and shot this picture in the evening.School-time was over and there were no children.Only the watchman was seen.
The tall and dense trees and the arch gave the school a majestic appearance.
I saw the motto and slogans inscribed in the gate-arch in the regional language ,Tamil.
They read:
"Character is Wisdom" ; "Hard work uplifts "
