Day122

Day122 by Kamala L.
This is the picture of Goddess Meenakshi, the presiding deity of Madurai, printed in the diary.
The word, "Meenakshi" means "Fish- eyed".It is said that fish usually take care of their young ones by their eye-sight. Godess Meenakshi also takes care of the devotees or worshippers in a similar way, just by her all-pervasive sight.
(Shot for 365days-group and also for DILO (A Day in the Life of One, 21March07) )group.
