Bad News  We took Paddington to the vet yesterday and got some bad news.
We've been informed that she has luxating patellas in both her hind legs. it means her knee caps are loose and moving around, causing her pain. we took her to the vet to check out a limp that developed about a month ago and thought it might be that, but i was really surprised to hear it's BOTH knees are going to have to be fixed. the vet has to call a specialist who will tell us if we can do both at the same time, or if it will be done in 2 parts so she will likely need 2 surgeries. she's never been really able to jump very high and never liked stairs, and now we have found out that this is likely the reason. it's stressful and i'm worried about her, but she will have a better life after the surgeries. poor little girl.
