I visited the falls in early 1980 when i was living in mbabane. It was beautiful and still rather rural.....Wildlife and the like. I was there with some students from manzini who spoke english. Kept reminding myself that indeed i was in africa. The ironic part, i only had black and white film on me that day. Although the photos i took are still nice, i lost all that lush green and blue sky. Oh well. I had a lot of very interesting experiences in the 6 months i was there, and met some absolutely fantastic people. I often google the capital and relive the experience. I even found my residence when i was there. My kruger trip was exactly that.....A trip. Stan k baltimore, md usa

Hi Stan - I'm really pleased my photo has invoked such wonderful memories. It really was so lush and green around that valley eh? I agree, the people really are fantastic. I loved the country and visited numerous times between 1998 and 2000, while living in South Africa. The border crossing at Pigs Peak was especially memorable for me!!
