There is no better person to fall in love with but with Jesus

Are we not living in the world of "I want this, I want that"? To acquire more and more earthly possessions. To desire more, to obtain more and to achieve more of all the C's in this SHORT life on this TEMPORARY world – Cash, Car, Credit Card, Condominium, Certificate, Career, Country Club membership, Camera, Cosmetics, Chicks, etc to make ourselves happy and to impress others! What are all those things?!! Someday, when we lie down in our Casket, all those things just DO NOT matter to us anymore.

What are all those things mentioned above will eventually become? DUST.

If there is only ONE thing I WANT MORE of, it would be CHRIST – Jesus Christ. He is not some kind of religion. He is a Person. A personal God to me. A wonderful Friend. I did not find Him but He found me in the year 1998 when I was still a college student then. April 10, 1998 was the day He saved my soul from the death of sin. That was the day I first met Jesus and accepted Him into my heart as my personal Saviour and Lord. He forgave me of my sin. He FIRST loved me.

There were times I fell in my walk with Him. This journey ain't a smooth one. God never promised us a bed-of-roses life. If life was so ever perfect, do we still need Him?? If what that ever matters in our temporary life on earth is to acquire more and more material things and have the pleasures of this world, do we ever feel satisfied with what we have? Are we ever thankful for what we have? We will find ourselves having so much on the outside BUT on the inside it is all emptiness – VOID, VACUUM. How do we know there is an emptiness in us? That is when we find ourselves trying to fill our life with more and more of the wrong things but we can never have enough. I am saying this because I have been through it, and if I am not guarding my walk well I may fall into this trap again.

There is ONLY one PERSON who is able to fill the emptiness in us, and He is JESUS. Coming to know Him personally is an intimate relationship with God Himself. Is not it a marvelous thing?!! Who would ever thought we, a small human being can ever have an intimate relationship with an Almighty God Himself? HE – the One who created the whole universe and placed the first man on this little planet called the Earth. He – the One who breathes life into our body. He – the One who loves us UNCONDITIONALLY – His love was demonstrated on the cross when He took our place of sin. He – the One who did not just die forever on the cross but rose again after three days so that we could have His hope of glory. He – the One who is ever gracious, still waiting at the door of your heart, knocking gently and waiting patiently until the day that you may open your door and invite Him into your heart. There is no greater love than Jesus' love.

Who or what is your god? Could your god be your Cash? Career? Car? Company? Church? Hobby? Power? Status? Religion? Spouse? Children? Girlfriend or boyfriend? Are they your god or are you god over them? Have your god ever loved you so much that he died for you? If you have found any god like that please let me know.

Why am I writing this? Because the world needs to know the Truth, so that the Truth will set us free. The Bible in John 14:6 says, Jesus answered, "I am the WAY and the TRUTH and the LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through me."

The decision is ours to make. Whether you believe it or not, everyone of us has at least one god in our life to fill that void in us. Who or what do you make into your god today?

My God is Jesus Christ – my Creator God, I did not make Him, but He made me – that is why He is GOD over my life! I can only marvel at His goodness and faithfulness throughout these years. And I have come to understand there is nothing I could do to make Him love me more and there is nothing that I have done that can make Him love me less. He loves us despite of our imperfection! Is not He wonderful?!! Today, I am coming back to the FIRST LOVE. There is no better person to fall in love with but with Jesus. All I want is MORE of JESUS.

By the way, Jesus is coming back soon. Are you ready to meet Him? (..."Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. – Revelation 22:20) When He comes back I do not think He is going to ask you and I how much we have in our bank account, what kind of car do we drive, how big is our house, how many wives / husbands have we married to, what are our career achievements, how good or bad have we been, how much money have we given to charity, how faithful are we in attending church every week, how busy are we for His work, how many cameras do we own, how many photos have we posted on the flickr bla bla bla. None of those. He is looking for the hearts of those who LOVE Him.

I am not sure if we will ever get to take pictures of Jesus and with Him when He comes back and upload them to flickr. But as for me flickr will not matter to me anymore by then. I will leave everything I have behind and go Home with Jesus. I am also hoping to see you, you, you and you to go with me back to our Home in Heaven.

His love endures forever til the end of time and til I see Him face to face in Heaven. Very soon.

See Eternity. Live for Eternity. Jesus never fails those who come to Him. Amen!

    Interesting concept. Is Jesus a person or is he God Almighty. Until this question of "Can man be God and Can God die?" be answered clearly how can you have peace? The definition of peace is absence of confusion. How can you expect to achieve peace if your faith is based on irrationality.     For people that say Jesus is a delusion, or he isn't the son of God, or that he is "just religion", y don't u try him first b4 saying those things? --_^ I've seen Jesus give me peace and change my life, and he can change your 2 if u just let him in and let him stay.

    I love Jesus. The world may seem to be spiraling out of control, but the more you read and apply the Bible, the more obvious it becomes that God is actually in full control. Yes, the day's news headlines may be pretty grim and the temptation to worry can be quite intense, but believers have tangible reason to take heart. After all, there is great comfort and clarity to gain from reading His Word and then seeing it played out, like a script, even unwittingly by those who deny Him the most. Ironically, I think there are a lot of hurting and confused people who are looking for a savior while at the same time distancing themselves from THE SAVIOR. Yes, God is unquestionably in control. Having Jesus in your heart makes all the difference! May God bless everyone who reads your graphic!
