A picture from my Christmas trip to Chicago. A decked out house we could see from the road and we wound our way through the suburbs to find it. AWESOME house, the couple was on their porch waving with Christmas music blasting, best house we saw by far. Very festive :)

Not only did I get to spend time with my family from up north in Illinois/Wisconsin/Michigan who I hardly to get to see except during the holidays and maybe a hunting trip or two during the year, but it turned into the best Christmas I've ever had because I was able to bring my wonderful boyfriend, and love of my life by the way, with me for the holidays. We got to spend some great time with my family where they got to know each other a little bit and they all absolutely adored him. It was amazing having all the people I love together and having a good time. Amazingly there was not a white Christmas this year in Chicago, I was surprised!

My dad's gift to my mom for setting up all the vacations she did. Of course, romance before children all of the chocolate would've been my moms... Romance after children, the kids eat all your chocolate... Woops!
