I'm not entirely sure about the exact exposure time, but as a general rule, when the aurora is very active, I start at f/8, 8s at 400iso, and then adjust as necessary. for less active aurora, f/2.8, 10s at 400, and then adjust.

Exposure's not too difficult to work out... the biggest thing is to remember to set your white balance properly to capture all the subtle colour details, as AWB generally makes everything green.
