Part of it is because it's a polaroid.
(Where do you buy your film? All the places I used to go have stopped selling it.)

Usually, can sx-70 film be interchangable with 600 film? Because I could SWEAR that I've been using 600 film. But my grandmother (the original owner of my pola) insists that it takes sx-70. And I've looked at pictures of both film, and they look relatively similar. What do you think?

[after you read the info FYI: it's also really easy to make your own ND filter for the sx-70 to use 600 film. you can usually buy the filter material in a sheet and cut it to cover your lens.]
