Minnie's Magic

Minnie's Magic by LisaNH.
So here's my idea. I've been experimenting with Compost Tea and have a couple of local gardening centers who will let me brew some in their shops to sell.

I was thinking of naming it something like "Minnie's Magic", and asked Mr. Mighty Mangler to draw me Minnie with all of Minerva McGonagall's trappings, like the hat and magic wand, stirring a cauldron.

What do you think? Does it not work if you don't know about Minnie or is it cute anyway? What if I did a little small booklet with pictures of Minnie on the display?

Brainstorm with me, please!

I asked Minnie about it today, and she's all there for becoming a local celebrity.

(Compost Tea really is magical stuff. All organic and plants are amazingly healthy when they get some.)

(Should her wand be in the cauldron or just above it? Red eye lashes?)

Love Minnie but you should include a bit about her... just until the gossip columns take her up and she becomes a household name.

Minnie is adorable and needs an equally charming backstory.

I think a short story about Minnie would be a "must" but I would also include the website where people could learn about Compost tea. I'd never heard of it..but then I'm not a farmer. To me, tea is for drinking.
The drawing is perfect as is!

Hm... I think a short little comic strip to print on the bottle itself would be pretty cute. Kind of a little story... but then, I'm a cartoonist... so everything is a story that needs to be drawn. *^_^*

The drawing is awesome.
I like the idea of Minnie's story in a pamphlet or something with each bottle....or box?

I love it, too, and agree with the comments above. Just a little of Minnie's story on the bottle, and of course a way to find out more (your flickr photos, your blog). People love to connect with the sources of the things they're buying, and that connection can lead to other sales.

Oh, and I love the drawing, but the wand above the cauldron would make the magic clearer to people like me who don't look very closely!

My thought is her mouth looks too human vs piggish - and i agree on the wand being moved to above the cauldron

Make the stirrer into a stirring wand. Yes give her eyelashes.
Check out my thoughts under "Sucker" pic. Betcha Minnie will
become a celebrity and I know you can write up something really
creative and fun :)
