Cecil's neck wound
Cecil (formerly Cecilia... oops!) is a kitten found on Good Friday, 4/14/06, near St. Cecilia's Church in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. He must have had a wire or cord around his neck so tight it cut into his neck. The open infected wounds are healing nicely. Cecil also has a heart murmur and a genetic condition that causes the fur next to his eyes to rub and irritate them. He's a sweet, loveable little guy in spite of what has happened in his short life. Follow Cecil's story here: www.rescuedinbrooklyn.wordpress.com. As he will need special and costly veterinary care, donations would be greatly appreciated. Go to BARC Shelter's homepage here: www.barcshelter.org to make a secure donation and note that it is for Cecil the kitten. Thank you!
UPDATE: 01/20/07 Cecil had his last medical procedure on his eyelids and now is living in a wonderful forever home in Brooklyn! *BARC is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization* CommentsWould you like to comment?Sign up for a free account, or sign in (if you're already a member). |
