I am getting ready to head out for another day looking for that
photo and thought I would post another of the many great shots I got the
other day at John Muir beach just north of San Francisco along Highway One.
Along the beach were these bright green rocks that I had only seen in small
pebbles on other beaches. This shot was taken along the rocks on the
southern end of the Muir Beach during a low tide. I had expected the
sunset to be blocked out by storm clouds but had dragged my gear along just
in case and it worked out quite well and I was able to get many very
different shots all in one sunset. Some, such as this one with the sun
still above the horizon and others with soft pinks in the sky after the sun
had dipped below the Pacific Ocean.
