Lunchtime Landscape

Watercolor and ink in 3.5" x 5.5" (9 x 14 cm) Moleskine sketchbook.

 

A little sketching during lunch using my homemade sketch box and a Niji waterbrush. I made the sketch box from an empty Sucrets box and filled it with half-pans glued down with rubber cement. The eight pigments in this box are:

- Hansa Yellow Medium (cool yellow)

- New Gamboge (warm yellow)

- Scarlet Lake (warm red)

- Perm Alizarin Crimson (cool red)

- Pthalo Blue (cool blue)

- Ultramarine Blue (warm blue)

- Raw Sienna (earth)

- Burnt Sienna (earth)
