I was going to say something about McCain being a hairy old bag of ass, but then I thought better of it...

No I didn't.

He is.

Glad you like it.... and this is a wonderful use of the phrase! He is indeed a hairy old bag of ass.
Love this photo, Jenny. An Obama railroad bridge? It gets no better than this.

Well, it's not like he'd ever find your spot-on description of him. He is, after all, "looking in to learning" teh interwebs so he can read the news and check his own email, since he can't do that yet.

Cuz you know, in 2008, the president of the united states may need/want to know what a computer is. And the internet.

Thanks, y'all!

Yes, this is for real. Even more real was the woman who got out of her car to scream obscenities at me while I was taking this. Actually, I'm not sure if she was screaming at me or at the bridge, but she was a crazy person and clearly not an Obama supporter.

I'm pretty happy about Colin Powell. He has a lot to make up for and this is a good start.

Hans, we hope so, too!

Speakin' of hairy ol' bag o' ass...
Oh, wait--here's another one, only shorter and funnier.
And Scott McClellan, too--lots to make up for...

Oh, yeah, Jenna--I just heard an interview of the staff who moved into the White House after Reagan/Bush years and said there were no plugs by any of the desks for electric typewriters, let alone computers. Why don't Repugs use technology? Except for all those douchebags with Bluetooths in their ears, that is.
All right, I'll stop now.

Hey there, I blogged this to A bridge for Obama on Michigan in Pictures.

I was shocked to learn you were in that Time feature - I think it's true that you pay a lot less attention to the details of things that are online because I clicked through it not once but twice.
