Visited a fantastic house in Auckland called Alberton which is a massive colonial style farmstead. Amazing decor and great rooms and was struck by this mirror and the light falling on it and how sinister it looked. Colour version was solid but think the black and white adds the most atmosphere and makes the shot

After working on some quite depressing scenes for my city and guilds project I decided to do a light hearted picture in the style of carry on films! Barbara Windsor anyone!

Had to get down really low for this and ended up covered in sand for rest of day. God know what Megs mum though of this though I suspect Megs is getting used to me crawling around on the ground!

Took this on Piha beach after a day trip out there. Different feel to australian beachs and felt kind of remote with black volcanic sands and crazy waves. Tide kept rushing in so thought i would risk the camera and get a low sweeping shot with the stormy sky

Macro shot of the worlds nosiest insect or so it seemed around megs mums house. They were everywhere. Got this shot leaning off a balcony after about 30 attempts.
