Wow, Lin! I thought it was going to be a bunch of hearts or one big one...or something...else. The rug/tapestry idea is great! This design is soooo you. You totally rock!

Like Gila, I was imagining a bunch of hearts. You've reached beyond the obvious and taken it higher. May be the most ambitious of the hospital mural projects.

Ah...you give me too much credit. The obvious still exists in the directive. It's not me who will be designing hearts but the artists. Not a big jump in your face heart, unless that's what you like...but the symbol must somehow be represented in each piece. even if it's subtle. ;)

Beautiful design, Lin! I can see how hearts will work well in a tapestry design.

Thank you :)

I plan to keep the names that I have on the wait list at this moment, but won't be adding to it until the next project. Not sure where or when that will be, I hope to do 1 of these a year (not 4!) But collecting names now I think would be a bit premature.

Very cool, Lin. So will we be incorporating a heart somewhere in our diamonds? Sort of like we did with the swirls?

Lin Schorr  Pro User  says:

Yes, that's the idea. It can be subtle or bold...up to the artist - as long as a heart is there.

so much more difficult than I thought! Using only 3 colors is tough.

But there's so many variations of those 3 colors ;)

Studio Fresca  Pro User  says:

So, Lin, looking at this in all the glory of it's clever, movement-like 3D perspective design parameters, it dawns on me that my own little "square" will not really be sitting "flat" on one of it's sides, but actually more on an angle from the perspective of the viewer -- yes? Just wanted to clarify this before I settled on a rather earthbound design that might look a bit odd when tilted up on end... Thanks for the clarification!

Lin Schorr  Pro User  says:

Oh don't get too hung up on that. I imagine that hearts will be in every which-a-way directions. That's the plan anyway. Try not to over think perspectives...both in the 3D sense and in the viewers eyes. :)
