cute puppy. too bad they grow up to be so ugly -- though I think that's more a matter of some of their owners.
the neighbors behind me have a pit bull that they seem to have trained to be a vicious guard dog. It rushes the fence between my yard and theirs every time I work in the garden, sometimes scaring the crap out of me since it will run into the boards and knock them loose.
Lately, I've been taking a pocket full of doggie bones with me every time I go work in the garden. I talk to the dog through the fence and tell it to be good, and when it stops barking, I toss a bone over the fence to it.
My goal is to turn it into such a bone whore that it turns into a crappy guard dog. At least, when I'm trying to work in my own damn yard! ;-)

ah ha ha ha! thats great!!!!! yeah i agree on teh dog behavior. i think its how they are trained.... (for the most part) pit in fences and on leashes are a a disaster waiting to happen.

btw, one of these days I need to stop into kits while you're working, and have you explain Nikon flash options to me. I've got their cheap-o flash for my D80, but at some point would like to be able to work with the flash OFF of the camera, and with more than one flash. Need to know what my options are, what works well, etc.

sounds good! you heard we are moving right? on canal by iHOP. grand opening is on the 21st..... OF THIS MONTH!!!!!!! 2500 sq ft compared to 660 sq ft. oh my god! wide format printer..... brand new frontier. im gonna be in heaven!!!!

does this mean I'll be able to get presentation quality prints from digital done here in the tri-cities? I'd love to get some 11x14's of a few shots, but want to make sure I have some control over color matching, cropping, etc.
