[ Day 336 | Year 2 ] waiting for my luggage. . . which never showed up. At first I was thinking: no big deal, I'm home. I can make due. But then I remembered I'm leaving for Montreal in a day. I NEED MY STUFF. Grr. I'm hoping they are speedy and can get me my bag tomorrow. Otherwise I have some shopping to do. (Luckily I had my camera and computer in my carry on!)

[ Day 335 | Year 2 ] look who I found!
It was so great to meet up with Val here in Seattle. Both of us were visiting for Christmas break so we arranged to meet. Unfortunately this is the *only* picture I managed to get as my camera freaked out and would not turn on. (I swear my second battery was fully charged but the "change battery" message was not even coming on.) Well, I managed to get at least one shot of the two of us even if you can't quite make out that Pike's Place Market is behind us.

pike place starbucksI worked at Starbucks for five years so there's a special place in my heart for the original location in Seattle. It was cool to see but there was a huge line out the door and several other Starbucks within a five minute walk so Val and I took a look around and went to a different location to get some coffee.

I think if I didn't live in a city I would like to live on a lake. I love the water and the trees!
