Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy by Anomalily

Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy

Theo and I went as Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy for Halloween. I sewed the gown and bonnet (a straw hat formed the base), and Theo & I sewed his vest at about 2 in the morning of Halloween. We took this picture after riding 18+ miles around town to Halloween parties.

Dinner at the kittenshack... by Anomalily

Dinner at the kittenshack...

No, Flickr, I haven't died. I have just been very, very busy.

I got a new camera, a fabulous Lumix LX3. Here is its work on the first day out of the box.

Day 305: I've got an xtracycle and 2 inch heels by Anomalily

Day 305: I've got an xtracycle and 2 inch heels

Today was one of those days where I was struck by how utterly insane my schedule is:
Wake up at 6:20
Ride 8 miles to Reed at 7:20
Spend 20 minutes on email/schoolwork before
starting work at Reed Library at 8:30
Ride to work at BTA at 11:00
Ride to City Hall for meeting at 2PM
Walk to PDC for Rose Quarter Stakeholder Advisory Committee Meeting at 5PM
Go back to work at the BTA at 7:20
Ride home from BTA at 8PM

...And now, here I am at home, and I still have at minimum 5 hours of schoolwork to do. I'm incredibly glad that this will be over late next week and I can go to a slightly less insane only semi-over-committed schedule.

I am behind on uploading pictures, but I liked this one enough I figured I'd throw it up and backfill later.

If I can get through this week's midterm, extensive work commitments, two papers, and still be mildly awake at the end of it, I will consider it a success.
