Skokie's Bike Safety Day
On June 6th, the Skokie Park District, Skokie Police Department, and Skokie Fire Department came together to help teach resident kids the importance of traffic safety. From 10am to 2pm, children owning bicycles had the opportunity to not only register their bikes, but could test their skills through various activities--such as the Snail Race, where participants try to reach the finish line as slowly as possible. Beautiful weather and helmets on each child's head made this Bike Safety Day in Skokie a success!
