Long Man Of Wilmington, South Downs
An iconic part of the South Downs landscape just outside of the village of Wilmington in Augist 2009 just before this field is harvested.
This will be all part of the new South Downs National Park, at last it will have the designation it has always deserved. I watched the sun go down here after what was an average day at work, and decided to just get in the car and go. That's what freedom is, after all? Not doing the things you fall into the routine of doing and just breaking loose from your own shackles. The road itself that runs past here is a little country lane that is a great drive too through Litlington down to the Cuckmere/Seven Sisters country park. Great shot, thanks for sharing.
Great to see the OM2 is getting put to good use - I loved mine and am sorry I sold it.
