White Horse

wtf! :(
White Horse by Vicky Lamburn.
View On Black

View large 100% scan crop - Gorgeous detail in FP4+ in Xtol 1:3 and with the Canon Serenar 50mm f/1.8 Lens

Gorgeous white horse that was up at Stanmer Park last weekend. Maybe a little too low on the frame but I still think it works fine.

But...

...ARGH what is that mark on the left. I hope it's a drying mark but it's the only negative on this strip with it :/

I expect knowing my luck this is an emulsion defect or processing mark which is absolutely galling if it is because I love this photo, even if it is my own (and my measurement of whether I'm any good at this is whether I like the photos I take myself.)

Toned slightly to mimic a warmtone print (which is what I shall do later on some lovely Ilford MGIV FB Warmtone)

Leica M2, Canon Serenar 50mm (f/1.8 model), Unknown Aperture, Ilford FP4+, Kodak Xtol 1:3 for 14 3/4mins

Thanks everybody :)

Brian, yep, definitely like working on film. The process from loading it, to developing it, to printing it is something I enjoy tremendously. I'll keep using it so long as they make it :)
