The 857 is targeted for the moderate to severe overpronator. This update to the 856 is a substantial makeover. The overall design of the upper is much sleeker, resulting in a dramatically improved fit. The Extended Web, coupled with the TS2™ and Stability Web® provide outstanding control and support, which also allowed the removal of the Rollbar. This provides a smoother ride without compromising stability. A full-length Abzorb® Strobel Sock offers additional cushioning right at the foot. The Acteva™ midsole foam provides a more consistent, softer feel and helps to reduce weight. Cushioning is provided by Absorb® SBS units in the heel and forefoot.
