The 858 is designed for the moderate to severe overpronator. This update to the 857 builds on last year's improvements while enhancing fit and significantly improving the road feel. The forefoot is a bit roomier and the N-Lock® system has been incorporated in the midfoot to better secure the foot to the midsole. The Extended Web, coupled with the TS2™ and Stability Web® provide outstanding control and support. A full-length Abzorb® Strobel Sock offers additional cushioning right at the foot. The Acteva™ midsole foam provides a consistent, softer feel and helps to reduce weight. Cushioning is provided by Absorb® SBS units in both the heel and forefoot. The Phantom Liner is seamless and wicks moisture away from the foot. Ortholite antimicrobial insole keeps pesky bacteria at bay.
