Anadama Bread 13

    Prev Next

I tried baking Peter Reinhart's Anadama bread. I was a bit intrigued by a bread with a corn base that had to sit out for a while. And I was happy it could serve as an almost sandwich loaf also. However, unfortunately, it didn't really rise. It stayed brick shaped...it tasted quite nice, a touch sour and excellent with cream cheese. I would like to try to get this right one day.

Mine is rising now but does not seem to really rise. I will leave it a bit longer and see if it will rise.
