This is a teaser from my "back to the future" series pitting the 1920s vs 1950s.
I'd posted a few shots from this shoot earlier, but have just now revisited it to discover a gold mine of pics that I'd never even considered previously.
These pics are actually from my very 1st studio shoot, and at the time I had no clue what I was doing (and still mostly don't) so it's quite amazing when I realize the sort of pics that resulted.
This was supposed to be a 1920s shoot, but one of the models got sick and cancelled the night before. I invited young Cindy (above) to step in as a last-minute replacement, but she didn't own or have access to any old-style clothes. So, she did the next best thing and showed up in her 1950s style red "Marilyn" dress. Needless to say, she stole the show. ;-)
There are actually quite a few pics that I'm going to post so you'll have to bear with me as it may take a week or so to get through them. Believe it or not, now that I'm remastering them, I'm actually quite excited about the as yet unposted pics 'cause most have never seen the light of day until now. :-)
And, with this pic I'm happy to announce I've passed 500,000 views, so thanks to all who've taken the time out to check out my stream. You're the best!!! ;-)
By the way, if you still haven't seen my latest videos, I think you'll
really like them. They represent my early foray into video, however,
if you like my photo style, then you should like my video style too.

Nice one! Great expression! I love the "interaction" of your model with the photographer, which is something we don't often see...

I really like this one. It's one of the pictures that is very warm and nice, life like, like she's really staring at you, not a composed stand but something spontaneous.

@don, thanks so much for your persistent feedback. We'll get you into Flickr's upper echelon of photographers somehow. Remember, the eyes are the key. :-)
@cut2cure/ken, this was a shot that I actually never thought to post since I considered it just a silly out-take. I'm not sure how it came about, but it certainly wasn't posed in any way...it just happened so fast and now I'm very glad I was able to capture it before she returned to her more serious self. :-)
