Back lit and flipped to B/W

This is a "salvaged" picture. With the extreme back lighting, the camera and me got the exposure wrong on the face. But I always shoot raw so i was able to bring it back but I just did not like it very much in color. I flipped it to B/W because I thought the high contrast might work well. And I have to say I like this one alot better than color. I cleaned up the eyes which had alot of reflections and tiny pupils from the bright light. Much of the post was done in LR2 with just the eyes and sig added in CS3.

I think you did a nice job of salvaging this. This looks like something straight out of the 1950's I have seen. Cute model and cute expression. Nice job with the eyes.

I don't really like the matte very much, but that is more of a preference of mine, but besides that it is pretty much prefect.

Very nice high-key-like qualities. Black and white seems perfect here.

I think this is a really nice rendering. Great expression and good artist interpretation. Very "New Yorker" ish
