    Still wearing my fishing gear when I got off the Beechcraft in Dutch Harbor... in a moment that could only happen in Dutch Harbor a woman walked up to me and said "I really like your pants" as she brushed her finger tips across the Gore-Tex laminated nylon.

    They really are nice rainpants.

      I'm thinking she was a professional... still... I gotta admit... those are some stylin' red pants. I've been wearing some red croc's around town here and they get a lot of looks too.

      I agree, this is a great photo Viewminder! It must be the presence of the primary colors that enhance this photo so well.

      Sorry our paths didn't cross, but I'm headed back to Berlin for a few weeks, and then back in the states towards the end of January. That GPS system you recommended is nice and might work well for future travels to Antarctica - 2012 expedition. You know what they say, if a wing and pray won't guide you home, the GPS will! It's a sexy little gadget that saved my life!

      Thanks WinterClover! The GPS has got me out of a jamb a time or too... it's become my religion. I'd be curious for your feedback on how it works in Antarctica!
