just cook something

I wasn't sure what I wanted to make for Christmas dinner, and finally decided on filet mignon, potatoes gratin, and spinach gorgonzola salad. As I was making the meal I realized it almost doesn't matter what you prepare, it's the act of cooking that just feels so good on Christmas.
