Went on a press trip to Casa de Campo in the Dominican, a fabulously posh resort that I could never actually afford to stay at (which is why I took advantage even though it meant I'd have to work through my stay there).

Could not pass up the offer to take aim at clay pigeons. These are empty cartridges.

A million years ago (well, April) I went to Alberta for a travel story.

I was there primarily to see the Badlands, prime dinosaur territory, but treated myself to a night in Banff -- my first time seeing the Rockies. Just beautiful.

I was there primarily to see the Badlands, prime dinosaur territory, and got a great tour of Dinosaur Provincial Park. Would love to go back during their summer season, where one can participate in bonafide excavations. So cool.
