Spotted Lake, Osoyoos, B.C.

This photo gives a little sense of scale to the mineral pools in Spotted Lake. In late summer the lake evaporates into these pools of salt that vary in color due to their unique mineral make up.

If you ever go, please secure permission from the Okanagan Nation before visiting. This is sacred tribal land.
