    Adams was pitching for the Cubs in Savannah against the Yankees that spring:
    query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=9803E 3DE153EE033A...
    He played in the majors in 1914 and 1915, but remained in the minors until 1925.
    Since this is presumably a Savannah Colts uniform, the picture must date from when he played for them , 1913.
