I am an administrator for a small WW II aviation museum. I would think it would be wonderful if some of these models were still around in someones collection. They are probably cardboard models of B-24 bombers, Martin B-26 medium bombers with P-51 and P-38 fighters above them. what a great picture!

I think the little pursuit planes are models of P-39 Airacobras. Maybe too early to be P-63s? Nice use of off-camera flash.

To LWyman, after looking closer at the little pursuit plane I believe they look a lot like Curtiss P-40's. I agree that they are not P-63's, any way it is still a great picture from the WW II years.
