humans are curious creatures. happy to have the benefits and all too willing to avert their eyes from the costs, or blame them only upon those whose land houses them, as if in accepting the output, they are any less culpable. we're in "this" together, folks. if there's any shame, any blame, it is utterly shared by now.

at some point, we really need to stop pointing fingers. nothing is going to be accomplished until then. so the real question is -- who is the better human? and do we or do we not really want to be better humans?
